With 25 villas (and rooms) across 25 hectares of prime land off the West Atlantic coastline, Itenkauri is the first eco luxury resort on Rubane, a pristine island in the Bijagos Peninsula. Accessible by air 1 hour from Dakar, Senegal; 3.5 hours from Lagos, Nigeria and 4.5 hours from Lisbon, Portugal.

Embodying a strong conservation theme, our design reflects our unique African culture. From the villas, lobby, restaurants, spas to our guest spaces, furniture, artefacts and fabrics are carefully curated to express our heritage amidst modern convenience and technology.
